8 weeks and tickin right along!

Today at our 8 week ultrasound, Dr. H actually did it instead of the ultrasound specialist.  We were surprised to see him since we don't 'graduate' until the 10th week.  But, he said he was available and that he "wanted to see those babies!".  How do you thank him????  That is what I asked him today!  I expressed my gratitude and appreciation and that no words could EVER show how truly grateful we are....EVER!  He said the babies were thanks enough and that he has the greatest job in the whole wide world!  AMEN!

So, at 8 weeks, baby A is at 15.7 mm (8 weeks exactly) and has a heartrate of 178 bpm :)  Baby B is at 16.6 mm (8 weeks, 1 day) and has a heartrate of 168 bpm :)

They both are doing wonderfully at this point and the yolk sac is about gone.  Dr. H said they are feeding off off their umbilical cords now :)

We got to see little arms and legs this time!  Nothing beats being there and seeing them on the screen with little arms, legs, and hearts just moving up a storm!  I can't wait to see what 9 weeks brings :)

In the 1st picture below, where they both are in view, baby B is on the left and baby A is on the right.  Baby A was on her side today so the little 'sticks' off the white circle (baby) are the arms/legs.  Baby B was laying on his back so you don't see it as much on the caption.

Enjoy!  And again, THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!
